Sponsored Sleepout 2018

Friday 7th December at Hemel Hempstead School

What is the Sponsored Sleepout?

Volunteers are sleeping out for one night to understand what it might be like to be homeless, whilst raising money for DENS, your local homeless charity!

Where and when does it take place?

Friday 7th December from 9pm-7am at Hemel Hempstead School - refreshments and toilets will be available throughout the night.

How can you can take part?

Anyone is welcome to take part in the Sleepout event! Children under the age of 11 years must be accompanied by their parent/s or legal guardian. Young people between the ages of 11 and 18, are welcome as part of an organised group, with at least two adults (over 21 years), per group of 8 young people.

Why you should do it?

There are many reasons to take part in the Sleepout - here are our top 3!

  1. It’s great for raising awareness about homelessness and highlights the issues homeless people face.
  2. It’s an opportunity to raise money through sponsorship.
  3. It’s a challenge but also GREAT FUN!!
