Financial Empowerment Programme

We’re working in partnership with local charities to support people facing financial difficulties.

The Financial Empowerment Programme aims to help those who access the Dacorum Foodbank, or may be at risk of needing the service, to manage their situation so they are less likely to need the Foodbank in the future.

Services include:

  • Tailored budgeting advice and support
  • Checking what benefits you can get
  • Life skills and money management workshops: focusing on how to maintain a tenancy, manage bills, eat healthily for less and improve wellbeing.
  • More in-depth debt counselling available for those with significant issues.

If you, or someone you know, needs support from the Financial Empowerment Programme, please contact needhelp@dens.org.uk.
