How to donate
Donations can be dropped off at our Foodbank at Dacre House, 19 Hillfield Road, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4AA – Monday-Friday 10am-1pm. Additional hours on Wednesdays 4pm-6pm. (Closed on Bank Holidays). For large donations, please contact 01442 250969 or foodbank@dens.org.uk.
Please note – DENS Dacorum Foodbank will have new opening hours from Wednesday 1st April:
Tuesday 10am-1pm, Wednesday 3-6pm, Thursday-Friday 10am-1pm (Closed on Bank Holidays)
Alternatively, you can drop food items in the Foodbank crates after the checkouts at these supermarkets:
Hemel – Tesco Extra Jarman Park (in-store shoppers only), Sainsbury’s Apsley Mills, Sainsbury’s Woodhall Farm
Berkhamsted – Tesco Metro (in-store shoppers only), Waitrose
Tring – Tesco (in-store shoppers only)
Please note: Tesco collection points are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and donated at a Tesco should be sealed and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
