One morning, Kevin noticed a group of hostel residents learning about coffee from a Barista Trainer.

When Olivia’s brother, Rory, sadly died, it was important for her to raise money for DENS in memory of the impactful support he received.

With no one to turn to, James moved into The Elms hostel and was allocated a Key Worker to help him get his life back on track.

Harry was found asleep on a park bench, alone, lonely and vulnerable.

Chloe was forced to flee her home and relocate several times with her elderly mother in order to escape a violent and threatening ex-partner.

Rachel first started using the Foodbank after her husband tragically took his own life, and having young children to look after meant she could no longer work.

Marie was providing live-in support for a local elderly woman, but after her care receiver sadly passed away, there was nowhere to go.

We’re so proud of our hostel resident, Matt, who recently completed a 15,000ft skydive in support of DENS and raised over an incredible £1,200!

When Jim was suddenly forced to leave his rental property during lockdown, with no notice and for no apparent reason, his life had suddenly turned upside down.
