The Day Centre is often the first port of call for our services

It is a welcoming space where you can find expert support, access essentials, meet others and develop new skills.

The centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 1.30pm (excluding Bank Holidays) for people experiencing homelessness (including people staying at The Elms hostel or in Crash Pad). During this time, visitors can:

  • Socialise and relax
  • Have breakfast and lunch
  • Use the showers, laundry, internet, phones and charging points
  • Get clothing and toiletries
  • Meet with DENS staff and other agencies for advice and support around accommodation, health and wellbeing etc.
