Make A Will Month

We all know that writing a Will is something we should do, yet many of us put it off. With our next Make A Will Month happening this March, now is a fantastic opportunity to finally do it!

We made the decision to remake our Wills through this scheme and found it to be very easy. I would thoroughly recommend it to all, whatever age, as it benefits everyone and brings peace of mind.

How it works

Local Will-writers are giving up their time for free to support DENS and the work we do. All the money raised through this program will be used to provide services and support to people in Dacorum facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. Thanks to their commitment, the donation you make in return for their professional services will be used to help people take the next positive steps in their lives.

The recommended minimum donation amounts are:

• £175 for a single basic Will
• £295 for a pair of basic mirror Wills

Your whole donation will be gifted to DENS to support our work, as our legal specialists are donating their time to help raise funds. These suggested donation amounts are much lower than the standard rates for Will-writing, so we would encourage people to be as generous as possible with their donation.

We expect the Will to be completed and signed within 8 weeks of starting the process, otherwise additional solicitor fees may be incurred.
