- I confirm that I am of sound mind and able to understand the risks involved and follow all instructions provided by the abseil provider and event staff.

- I agree to wear closed toed footwear with flat rubber soles such as trainers, sport and hiking shoes and not leather shoes without grips or shoes with heels. Refusal to wear appropriate footwear will result in you not being allowed to abseil and no refund will be given.

- I understand that participation is subject to safety checks on the day, including equipment fitting, weather conditions and risk assessments. The event organiser or abseil provider reserves the right to delay, suspend or cancel the abseil if conditions are deemed unsafe.
- If the event has to be cancelled, I understand that both my registration fee and any sponsorship raised will be detained as a donation to DENS.
- I understand that there is a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drug consumption. Any participants under the influence will be asked to leave and will not be able to participate with no refunds.
- I agree to follow all instructions given by the qualified abseil provider, event staff and safety personnel at all times. Failure to do so may result in my removal from the event without refund.
