At DENS, we do all we can to ensure that rough sleepers are aware of our services and can access them.
Our Outreach team works with Dacorum Borough Council and other agencies to ensure suitable emergency accommodation is found so that no one has to sleep rough.
If you believe someone is homeless or you spot someone rough sleeping, please call us on 01442 800131 or create an alert on the Streetlink website. Streetlink are a specialist outreach service who connect rough sleepers with local services, ensuring they get the support they need.
DENS do not charge on point of entry, meaning people do not need cash to access our emergency accommodation (Crash Pad) at The Elms or use our Day Centre. Both services provide free meals, washing facilities, and most importantly, support to find more independent and stable accommodation.
