Greg’s story

Greg arrived at The Elms hostel during a tumultuous period of his life after his relationship had fallen apart, leaving him with nowhere to turn. Thanks to support from his dedicated Key Worker, Greg progressed into his own flat, successfully navigating financial hurdles along the way.

Now, Greg is on an exciting pathway to independence, pursuing creative and educational achievements on a college course, feeling ready to work more than ever before and determined to reconnect with his loved ones.

International Women’s Day

Sustainability at the Bike Project

Global Recycling Day took place in March, and it was a great opportunity to reflect on how our Bike Project is making cycling even greener for the local community.

This includes every pre-loved bike sold at the shop undergoing a complete reconditioning process and coming with a six-month warranty. They can also take your worn-out tyres and inner tubes and send them off to be recycled into new products!
