Cold weather didn’t stop the smiles at DEN Sponsored Sleepout on Friday!
A record number of 200 supporters from all over the community came together with their sleeping bags to share the experience of what it would be like to be homeless.
We danced through the rainy spells with our Silent Disco in the School Hall. Then, once the rain had stopped everyone took to the cold, hard concrete of Hemel School’s grounds to get zipped up into their sleeping bags and put themselves in the shoes of those facing homelessness this winter.
In the morning, we woke up to sunrise and glowing sense of achievement after raising an incredible £35,000 to help support vulnerable people in Dacorum
