“As part of DENS Sleepout event which saw 200 sleepers raise a staggering £30,000 in support of vulnerable people in Dacorum, we at JamVans Removals were so proud to help show our support on the night for such a great local cause.
As well as having our own staff take part in the Sleepout we also donated 500 cardboard boxes for those taking part to use as beds and cover for the night.
Despite the torrential rain, this still didn’t dampen the spirits of those taking part and we were blown away by those who just saw this as part of the challenge!
One mother and young daughter particularly inspired us as we helped them to tackle the horrendous downpour by building them a small den out of cardboard boxes.
We’re so pleased to play our in small part in the huge efforts DENS make in supporting those facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion in the local area. And, well done to all those who took part amid the tough conditions!”
